It is used both in ale and lager brewing. Raw hops produce very pleasant and noble herbal, floral and citrusy aroma while on the other side offer charming bitterness. This aroma hop has a widespread usage both in big and craft breweries and it is commonly used as an aroma agent in beer. It is also very suitable for dry hopping.

HISTORY:
Styrian Golding is an aroma hop that is typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping. Very popular in Belgian Trappist and Monastery beers and an integral component some English pale ales and amber ales like Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Boltmaker. It is sometimes referred to as Savinjski Golding or Styrian Celeia
