Epic was founded by Luke Nicholas in 2006 when craft beer was still in its infancy. He first encountered big and bold craft beers in the States and wondered why there wasn't something similar in New Zealand.
Garage Project was started by Pete Gillespie & Jos Ruffell with help from Pete’s brother Ian. "When we started out we were tiny. Garage Project wasn't even micro brewing... it was truly nano brewing."
Between 2017 and 2018, Wayfinder Brewmaster Kevin Davey pioneered the Cold IPA. At the time, Davey had been experimenting with IPAs, looking to put his own spin on the category.
First, he used rice and corn, second, he used Wayfinder’s house lager strain of yeast, and lastly, he dry hopped the beer towards the end of fermentation.
Passionate about growing hops and making real English ale, Bob founded Larkins Farm Brewery in 1986 and set about supplying his local area in Kent, UK with wholesome, field to glass, real ale in the great British tradition. Unlike most modern breweries Bob settled on a small core range of Traditional Bitter, Best Bitter, Porter (Winter) & Green Hop Best (Hop Harvest). Recently added are Larkins Pale Ale & Premium Bitter
